Our very own LaMeka Dennis, Analytical Chemist in the Technical Gas Services division, has been selected to serve as an Instructor for the Gas Processors Association’s 42nd Annual School of Gas Chromatography to be held August 3-7 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
LaMeka joined the Red Ball family in September 2013. She’s a Grambling State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a concentration in Forensics.
“Being chosen to instruct at GPA school is quite an honor, and it’s no surprise LaMeka was tapped. Her professionalism and skill are first-rate. I know she will do an excellent job! Please help in congratulating LaMeka.” – Mark Patten, Director, Red Ball Technical Gas Services.
GPA has hosted its annual School of Gas Chromatography since 1973, and it is considered one of the best chromatography schools available worldwide. This hands-on school is directed toward chromatograph operators, measurement technicians and engineers involved with the operation and production at companies engaged in the midstream sector of the energy industry. Practically every measurement technician and measurement supervisor in the natural gas field is sent through this training seminar at some time in their career. Her participation as an Instructor will give the TGS division added exposure in this market segment and will help to define us as industry leader and a natural gas calibration supplier.
