Description

Stoody® Super BUILD-UP® AP-G .045" Dia Hard Facing MIG Welding Wire comes in a 33 lb wire basket and is a gas shielded, general purpose, flux cored, all position build up with good plastic deformation resistance as well as compressive strength. MIG welding wire is used for carbon steel shovel pads, shafting, rolls, pump parts, hammers, repairing battered rail, steel mill wobblers, slip joints, mild and low alloy steels. Martensitic alloy can be forged at red heat and features good machinability in the as welded condition using carbide tools. Deposits can be applied in multiple layers without crack. It functions in a smooth semi-spray transfer that admits high deposition in out-of-position application
