Weiler Tiger Zirc 2.0 type 27 grinding wheels are the next evolution in abrasives. These wheels now last up to 40% longer without sacrificing cut-rate, resulting in fewer change-overs and more material removed over the life of the wheel. An advanced bond formulation eliminates uneven edge wear, reducing high energy debris during the grinding process and improving balance for smooth operation. A zirconia and ceramic alumina grain combination delivers a consistent, fast cut-rate for the full life of the wheel, making them ideal for heavy duty applications. The fast cut, longer life combination ensures you get proven productivity at an exceptional total cost. The Tiger 2.0 upgrade features a QR code on the wheel for quick access to important safety information and an Optimum Use Line to help get the most out of the wheel. Using the wheel to its full life reduces change-overs, which helps users be more productive while reducing waste and abrasive spend. The flat profile of the type 27 shape in combination with the depressed center allows for a wide range of grinding angles (0-45). These 1/4 inch grinding wheels are ideal for heavy stock removal, scale removal, weld removal, weld blending, edge beveling and torch-cut softening with a right angle grinder. A small 5/8"-11 nutted metal hub allows for more usable surface area of the wheel in addition to providing quick spin-on, spin-off changeover.
